1. Seller
These terms apply to the FORGE 3D printing services and products ordered from MERL Kft. (registered seat: 6722 Szeged, Mérey utca 16. L. ép. Fsz. 2. ajtó, Hungary; tax number: 13768393-2-06; details in the Legal Notice). By placing an order you accept these terms.
2. Services and products
We provide custom 3D printing based on files supplied or specified by the customer, together with related design and post-processing services, and we offer 3D-printed products such as custom orthopaedic insoles made from a foot scan. Every product is made to the customer's individual specification.
3. How an order is placed
You place your order through the form on the website, attaching the necessary files. We review it and confirm the scope, price and lead time by email. The contract is formed when we confirm the order and you complete payment. We may decline orders that are technically unfeasible, dangerous, or that infringe the rights of a third party.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Hungarian forint (HUF) or euro (EUR) and are set per order. Where applicable, prices include Hungarian VAT (27%). For deliveries outside Hungary, VAT is applied according to the country of destination and the relevant EU rules, and the final total is shown before payment. Payment is made online by card through Stripe. We issue an invoice compliant with Hungarian law for every order and report it to the tax authority (NAV).
5. Production and delivery
The lead time is confirmed per order and runs from receipt of payment and of all required files. We ship within the European Union. The shipping fee and the estimated delivery time are shown before payment. The risk of loss passes to you upon receipt.
6. Customer files and responsibility
You warrant that you are entitled to have the uploaded files produced and that they do not infringe any third party's intellectual property rights. You are responsible for the accuracy of the files and specifications (including measurements and scans); we manufacture according to the content you provide and we confirm.
7. Right of withdrawal — important
Our products and services are made to the customer's individual specification, or are clearly personalised (custom prints, custom insoles). Under Section 29(1)(c) of Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.), the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to such made-to-order goods. This means that once production has started, the order cannot be cancelled or returned simply on the grounds of a change of mind.
This does not affect your rights in the case of defective performance (see Section 8). Any standard, non-personalised products we may sell are subject to the usual 14-day right of withdrawal, for which we provide a model withdrawal form.
8. Warranty and defective performance
As a consumer you are entitled to the statutory warranty rights (warranty for defects and product warranty) if the product is defective. If a product arrives damaged or does not match the confirmed specification, please notify us within a reasonable time at 3po@3po3d.com, and we will repair, remake or refund it in accordance with the law. Please take a photograph of any damage.
9. Complaints and dispute resolution
You may send complaints to 3po@3po3d.com; we respond within 30 days. If a complaint cannot be resolved, you may turn to the competent conciliation body: Csongrád-Csanád County Conciliation Board (Békéltető Testület), 6721 Szeged, Párizsi krt. 8–12., or use the EU online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. You may also contact the territorially competent consumer protection authority.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the value of the order. We are not liable for delays arising from incorrect files/specifications provided by you or from circumstances beyond our control.
11. Governing law
Hungarian law applies. The mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain in force.
